Ever had so much time to play anything you want that you just scroll through your game library instead?

My guilty pleasure is a "best games of the year" list, but here's my slightly different take - the best games I've played this year, regardless of release date.

Metaphor: ReFantazio was a breath of fresh air with a voiced protagonist, whilst Dragon Quest makes your hero feel a bit like a lobotomised bobblehead.
