I respect what the developers were trying to achieve with UFO 50; however, better versions of the games already exist elsewhere.

The story is B-movie at best, the characters are soullessly dull, and yet there's something so enjoyable about the moment-to-moment gameplay that really gelled with me.

Why is the majority of the game spent watching elevator doors open and close?

I do love a good arty game where I'm not entirely sure if I know what is happening, or even if I'm having a very good time, but it sure does look pretty.
